Every other capybara venue on this site sells you a ticket or a session. Cafe De Musketeer sells you a coffee and a bag of vegetables and lets you wander. It is described locally as one of the oldest of Bangkok's animal cafes and runs closer to a children's amusement park than a curated encounter.
That means no timer, no queue slot, and no guaranteed contact either. The animals move around, and you take what the afternoon gives you.

Sala Thammasop is out in Thawi Watthana, on the western edge of Bangkok, well away from the BTS network. The entry is free but the taxi is not, and on a bad traffic day that is the real price of admission.
If you are staying central and only doing one capybara cafe, Capybara Coffee Silom or Little Zoo Garden on the Sukhumvit line are the practical choices. This one is for people who want the unhurried version.
