What it is
This is the St. Augustine operation opening a second front on the Gulf side. Same structure — small groups, a guided session, real time with capybaras plus a rotating cast of other ambassador animals rather than a room with one animal in it. If you have read our St. Augustine page, you already know the shape of the visit.
The practical difference is geography. St. Augustine is on the Atlantic side, a long drive from most of central Florida's tourist mass. St. Petersburg puts the same experience inside easy reach of Tampa, Clearwater and the beaches, which is most of why it exists.
Booking, and why you should bother
Everything runs through their own site. Weekends sell out, which is the single most repeated piece of advice in every review of every capybara cafe in this directory and it stays true here. Book the slot first and build the day around it.

One feed covers both Florida locations, so half of what you scroll is St. Augustine. Still the fastest way to see which animals are actually out this week.
If you are choosing between the two Florida locations, pick on drive time, not on the animals. They are the same operation running the same format.
If you want a genuinely different day out, the nearer alternatives are Violette Hill Hay Farm up in Mount Dora, which is a farm rather than a cafe, and Gatorland in Orlando, which is a fifteen-dollar walk-up encounter inside a much larger park.
